Twist and Shout is a beautiful knitted cushion. The pattern is a mixture of cables and twists, hence the name. There is a garter stitch section for the decorative and functional buttons, plus tassle embellishments should you choose to include them.
 
This one is made using two colours but you could use just one, or how about variegated yarn to add to the "shout" element?
