These gorgeous, hand knitted, 4 ply socks are a little more challenging and interesting to make than my Simple Socks.
These are made from the top cuff down toward the heel and then on to the toe. There is a reinforced heel for strength and durability. The instep is shaped with a gusset coming from the heel into the foot, and the toe is grafted together with Kitchener Stitch for comfort. 
Don't let any of this put you off. The pattern is easy to follow and when you finish the first sock, the second will be a doddle!
 
If you are a beginner knitter or have never knitted socks before, you can still make these by following the pattern carefully, or you could try those first and then progress to this pattern. If you have made my Simple Socks, these are your next step in gaining experience and expertise in this field.
