The needle case is knitted using various  techniques. Included is beading, slipped stitch colour work, opportunity for hand embroidered French knits amongst the knitting and then wet felting the finished project.
Felting is optional and another alternative is given in the pattern for a smaller case with hand stitched edging.
Either way the finished needle case is strong, functional and very pretty. You'll wonder how you managed without it.
