This gorgeous asymmetrical shawl is knitted flat, with 4 ply yarn. I used a wool and silk mix but any yarn that gives you lovely drape, will be good. The pattern is a simple one once you get to know it, but the instructions are clear and concise. 
It's a sizeable shawl and ideal for over a winter coat or for use in other seasons, for that extra layer when things turn a little chilly.
