Down the line is a gently crescent shaped, asymmetrical shawl, knitted in 4 ply natural yarn. The way the increases are worked means it is not a true crescent but has a gentle curve on the top with a rounded "point" at the back.
It is made from only 1 x 100g (400m) skein of 4 ply yarn but you can make it even bigger by just continuing with the pattern until you've had enough!
Use natural animal fibre yarns for a fine, drapey shawl. A mix of wool and small amount of silk will give an even better drape and that luxury quality.
