Cedric is a simple hat. The original hat was knitted in hand spun yarn from fibre yeilded by a sheep called Cedric, hence the name.
The pattern is written for an Aran weight yarn in one size and for DK yarn in 2 sizes. If you wish a more slouchy type hat, simply knit it longer. If you like the skull-cap type but want to pretty it up a bit, add a pompom or a tassel and use your colourful yarn.
