The Easy Living Blanket has been in the making for some weeks and I hope you've enjoyed the updates here and on social media. At last though, we have a blanket, and if you don't mind me saying so, I think it's rather splendid!
I love the colours in my blanket, and they all go well together, even though my choices were seemingly quite random at the time! What colours will you choose?
The 100% Alpaca yarn from Drops is just perfect too. It's so soft and light, making this blanket ideal to sit on in the sun while you enjoy your summer picnic or to throw over your knees when the sun starts to go down but your Prosecco glass is not quite empty!
The pattern is easy and the project is really portable, so you can take your knitting with you wherever you go. I hate being idle, I get bored so quickly, but when my knitting is by my side, I feel settled. In fairness I'm usually on a (self induced) deadline, so I need to take every opportunity to get work done ;-)
